Candle Care & Tips

Candle care tips - for a longer, better burn.

The 1st burn is the most important!
When burning your candle for the first time allow wax to melt enough to create an even wax pool from edge to edge. This promotes an even burn for the length of your candles life, and helps avoids tunneling.

Keep your wick trimmed
Wick it... wick it real gooood.
Try to always keep your wicks length at 5mm. It is recommended to trim you wick every 3hrs once cooled, and before or after use once candle has cooled down.
Remember to also continually re-position your wick to keep it centered to prevent the glass being exposed to heat from the wick flame.

Try to avoid burning your candle for more than 3 hours per sitting. It is recommended to let candle cool for 2 hours before re lighting.

Frosting

Frosting does occur on soy candles. It is a natural effect of using good quality soy vegetable waxes. Frosting does not impact the life or burn of you candle. It's just a little uniqueness.

Safety

Understand the warning sticker on the bottom of your candle before lighting.
